Our latest project kicks off today, Tour for Tommy, a Scotland-wide cycle by a 30 strong group of riders. Starting at Dingwall at Ross County FC on Wednesday 11th September the cyclists will visit all 12 Scottish Premier League football grounds (season 2012/13) over the next five days covering a gruelling 380 miles.
The group of friends will be aiming to raise the phenomenal sum of £100k for Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Trust. This money will in turn be used to purchase and kit out the first mobile skin cancer screening unit in Scotland. You can donate here.
Breaking Strain Events are proud to be working with TBSCT on this epic ride. Over the past four months we’ve worked closely with the charity and with Material Marketing and Communications Ltd to provide the best event possible. From initial inception to route planning, risk assessments and kit advice we’ve also joined the team on a training ride and pulled together a great event team that will keep them on the right road, patch them up when they’re feeling the strain and generally make sure they have a safe and enjoyable ride.
