Garry and I are heading to the Scottish Event Awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel tonight as guests of Material Marketing and Communication. The awards in association with Event Scotland, provide the Scottish event industry a fantastic platform to demonstrate their talent and skills and stand out above the competition. This year’s Scottish Event Awards will be judged by an experienced panel from some of the UK’s leading event management companies who have the knowledge and skills to award the entries this year.
This year Material have been shortlisted in three categories for Epic 2012, the event that Breaking Strain Events put on for Greg McEwan in June last year. The categories that Material have been shortlisted are:
- Best PR Strategy
- Best Traditional Event
- Best Cause Related/Charity Event
We’re delighted to be associated with these nominations which are recognition of the hard work that went into Epic 2012 from both companies. These further add to the Commendation that Epic 2012 received at the Drum Marketing Awards earlier in 2013. Epic 2012 was commended in the Cause Related Marketing Strategy of the Year category.
