Glasgow 10K

Running a 10K isn’t everyone’s idea of fun, so Lee and Garry decided to do it in full firefighting gear whilst carrying Breathing Apparatus sets.

Highlights
  1. The tremendous support from the people of Glasgow who line the route year after year.
  2. Being asked whether there was oxygen in our cylinders and if they could have some. Seventeen times.
  3. Getting the gear off at the end. The thermal protection provided by the fire kit also stops body heat getting out.
