Drambuie Pursuit

Described by the organisers as following in the footsteps of Bonnie Prince Charlie after his escape from the Battle of Culloden, in reverse. The course starts at Eilean Donan Castle on Skye and winds its way eventually to Inverness. Enroute the teams were faced with archery (which we were rubbish at), Zap Cats (which our Zap Cat driver was rubbish at), hill running (pretty decent at), mountain biking (which three out of four in the team were good at but Lee was totally rubbish at), White Water Rafting (middle of the road), Dune Buggy racing (we got round in one piece), canoeing (managed to point it in the right direction and flail frantically at the water) and the final mile run to Inverness Castle where we actually caught one team up.

So, from being pretty ropey all day we managed to finish in a creditable third place; putting the first female on the podium too.
